UNA Show Up Saturday Service Fair

Are you looking for new ways to engage with the community and find volunteers to help move your mission forward? Register today for the UNA Show Up Saturday Service Fair, hosted by Utah Nonprofits Association in partnership with Show Up Utah. This fun-filled fair will include opportunities for families, adults, and anyone with a spirit of giving to learn more about how they can give back to the causes and organizations that matter to them, all while enjoying interactive booths and kid-friendly activities.  

Designed with Salt Lake County families in mind but open to everyone, this interactive volunteer fair connects community members with local, community-based nonprofits offering hands-on volunteer opportunities. Attendees will meet organizations that need their time and talents, and leave with clear, family-friendly ways to get involved right away and over the summer break.  

More than a traditional nonprofit fair, this event is built for action. Families can expect engaging activities, interactive booths, and opportunities to talk directly with nonprofits about volunteer roles that fit their interests and schedules. Along the way, participants will enjoy kid-friendly experiences and walk away with a tangible takeaway, whether that’s a completed service activity, swag, a raffle prize, or a clear next step to volunteer together.  

By bringing service-oriented, Salt Lake County nonprofits and families face-to-face, this event strengthens community connections and positions UNA Show Up Saturday Service Fair as a trusted hub for discovering meaningful, local ways to serve.

Who Should Attend?

This event is designed for nonprofits that offer family-friendly service opportunities. Participation is open to current Utah Nonprofits Association (UNA) members only. Organizations are welcome to contact us if they would like support determining whether this event is a good fit for their nonprofit

When:

Saturday, April 18, 2026 | 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM (Set up begins at 9:30 AM)

What to Expect:

9:30 AM Vendor set up
10:30 AM to 1:00 PM Tabling with families and community members
1:00 PM Pack up and depart

What you need to provide:
  • A small service activity at your table where families can participate in and/or specific volunteer opportunities for event attendees to sign up for that will serve your organization. This event is to encourage guests to engage in service during their summer breaks! 
  • Information about your nonprofit and opportunities, candy, swag
  • Information on other ways to get involved and support your organization. 
  • Table linen (recommended)

The Library will provide:

  • 1 8’x2.5’ banquet table
  • Table
  • 2 chairs
  • Underground parking with validation up to 2 hours
