About Our Speaker:

Janell Torres is a Utah transplant who moved to Utah to complete her undergraduate degrees in International Studies and Anthropology and certificate in Diversity at the University of Utah. Janell joined the OUSF staff as a program assistant in 2018 when the program was housed within Utah Campus Compact. Since then she has enjoyed sharing the opportunity that National Service gives young adults to engage in service benefitting their communities. When she became the Program Director at the end of 2021, she started sowing the seeds for what would become the One Utah Service Fellowship program. Janell is now excited to expand the reach and impact of the program. Her spare time is filled with the adventures of her adorable children and watching rugby.
