Cruz Mendez serves as Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing at First Nonprofit Group, where she supports the company’s sales team, leads a variety of marketing initiatives, and collaborates with nonprofit partners and state agencies. A Chicago-area resident since immigrating from Mexico at the age of six, Cruz earned her degree in Marketing from DePaul University. Her connection to First Nonprofit Group began early through a summer internship, evolving into a long-term career rooted in both professional growth and a passion for serving the nonprofit sector.
