Grant Manager

Admin/Operations Arts and Culture Fundraising and Development Public Policy/Government Relations

Utah Division of Arts & Museum (UA&M) grants are crucial to cultural institutions within the state and the Grants Manager leads the grants team in providing excellent stewardship of federal and state funds disbursed through the agency. As part of the leadership team, the Grants Manager represents the agency, the department of Cultural & Community Engagement, and the state. Core responsibilities for this position include overseeing the distribution of funds in an efficient, effective manner while properly following all federal and state rules and regulations regarding grants compliance, effectively managing the grants budget, and connecting constituents to services provided by UA&M. This is a supervisory (AX) position in the Utah State government, responsible for supervising the Grants Coordinator’s (contract/grant analyst I) time and activities. The Grants Manager must be an excellent communicator, able to articulate funding philosophy/vision and stand behind decisions regarding allocation or non-allocation of funds.
