Outreach & Program Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Play key supporting role in managing relationships with the UHC members and partners.
Collaborate with members, partners, and investors to create and maintain a comprehensive database of developers, including their project pipelines and timelines.
Identify and schedule meetings with potential customers and developments that could benefit from energy efficiency programs offered by Rocky Mountain Power’s Rebate Programs.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local, state, and national organizations to promote program initiatives and partnerships.
Design and implement a statewide tenant and landlord education program to enhance awareness and participation in energy efficiency initiatives
Ensure timely follow-up on all meetings with relevant information and action items to keep stakeholders engaged
Communicate important information in a timely manner through newsletters, calls to action and other creative means.
Play key role in planning, supervising and implementing various educational events including webinars, monthly meetings and annual conferences.
Desired knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Be passionate and committed to the mission and values of the Utah Housing Coalition.
- Desire to work in a small nonprofit.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to represent the organization’s mission effectively to diverse constituents and the public.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Self-starter, who is results-oriented with a commitment to accountability and follow through.
- Ability to provide innovative, resourceful, and systematic approaches to problem solving and policy development.
- Ability to successfully communicate data, research, and reports, both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency with office technology and information systems, including online communications, video conferencing, Microsoft Office suite.
- Self-starter with ability strong organizational skills to work independently in a variety of settings and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- High-level attention to detail and ability to proof documents, reports, programs, and fact sheets.
Ability to quickly jump from task to task, prioritize, stay organized, and complete assignments under deadlines in a high demand environment, at times.
Capability to anticipate problems and to think proactively to develop creative and effective solutions.
- Ability to effectively work with diverse groups, demonstrating leadership, collaboration, and partnership-building skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with community organizations, non-profits, local, state, federal, and other agencies.
- Maintain records, documentation and reports related to grants.
- Ability to help individuals who call for help with respect and dignity.
Willingness and availability to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
