Student Services Manager

The Gifted Music School, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Utah, seeks a full-time Student Services Manager.  The position is open now and will remain open for applications until filled. 

Salary Range–$50,000–$63,000 plus health benefits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations of the Preparatory Division

• Coordinate and provide support to other areas of the school where needed to ensure smooth operations of:

  • Classes, lessons, schedules, and calendaring

  • Customer service and communications to parents, students, and faculty

  • Billing and budgeting

  • Student registrations

  • Website updates

  • Tracking teaching and administrative hours for report to the business office

• Manage the student services team, who staff the front desk during all hours of school operation  

This position will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with the Business Manager, Assistant Artistic Director, GRIT Manager, and Development Director to carry out these responsibilities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Remarkable organizational and people skills

• Enthusiasm to attract and speak to new students and parents

• Ability to manage a database (MyMusicStaff is currently the platform of choice) and work full time at the school

• Experience with DocuSign, managing budgets and tracking employee hours and pay

• Love and appreciation of music education and a desire to support the core mission of the school
