SUMMARY:Roadless Rule - Salt Lake County Public Hearing RSVP
DESCRIPTION:The Trump Administration is trying to rescind one of the most important protections for our national forests while shutting the public out of the process. The quarter-century-old Roadless Area Conservation Rule protects clean drinking water\, dispersed recreation\, and some of the best habitat for fish and wildlife anywhere. When the Roadless Area Conservation Rule was first created\, the Forest Service held more than 600 public hearings across the country and received millions of public comments. People showed up\, spoke out\, and demanded lasting protections for their forests. Now\, the Trump-appointed leaders of the the Forest Service are trying to rescind one of the most important protections for our national forests\, the Roadless Area Conservation Rule\, while shutting the public out of the process. That is unacceptable. In response\, groups across the country are organizing community hearings to make sure our voices are heard.https://secure.everyaction.com/wr8DHOxmoUqc_z0IIK2edg2
