Session 2: SUSTAIN
Strengthening the Flame: Personalities, Generations, and the Platinum Rule
Even the brightest spark needs the right environment to keep burning.
Your teams are made up of different personalities, communication styles, and generational perspectives. When these differences are understood and leveraged effectively, they become a powerful source of collaboration rather than conflict.
Adam Conley, Founder of Transformative HR Support, will expand on these ideas by exploring how how generational differences intersect with personality and leadership styles, offering practical strategies to build stronger, more connected relationships across teams. Guest speaker Caryn Lee, creator of the Narrative Big Five personality assessment, will introduce participants to the power of personality awareness and how it shapes workplace communication and teamwork.

About the Instructor(s):
Adam Conley, MA, PHR, SHRM-SCP, is the founder of Transformative HR Support and a Human Resources leader with over a decade of experience helping organizations navigate the conversations most people would rather avoid.
Throughout his career, Adam has worked alongside nonprofit leaders, executive teams, and frontline managers to address performance concerns, workplace tension, restructuring challenges, and complex employee relations issues. He understands that in mission-driven organizations, conflict can feel especially personal — and that avoiding it often comes at a high cost to culture, morale, and impact.
With advanced education in leadership and business, and professional certifications in HR, Adam blends strategy with practicality. His approach is direct, engaging, and refreshingly real. He believes brave conversations don’t require harshness — they require clarity, preparation, and the confidence to lead with both accountability and empathy.
Caryn Lee is the founder of Narrative, a consulting firm that partners with clients to improve performance through personality insights, coaching, team building, leadership development, and conflict resolution. Narrative publishes the Narrative Big Five Assessment, based on the Five Factor Model of personality. She launched Narrative in 2015 and specializes in helping leaders use scientifically grounded assessment data to build stronger teams, improve communication, and drive better business results.
