About our speaker:
Lennie Knowlton, CMHC, CDWF, is the Founder and Executive Director of Project Connection and a leading advocate for integrating therapy with real-life connection. With extensive experience working with individuals who have faced significant trauma, she emphasizes the transformative power of relationships in healing. Lennie has pioneered one of the first Social Prescribing programs for mental health in the United States and is the founder of Relational Social Prescribing.
She co-authored Utah’s inaugural trauma training for foster and adoptive parents, served as the Rocky Mountain Region Leader for The Daring Way, and has presented at Brené Brown’s Courage Camp. Lennie has also presented for corporations on connection, leadership and belonging. As the current Community of Practice Lead for Social Prescribing USA, Lennie is dedicated to advancing the movement, believing that connection is fundamental to mental health and well-being.
