Graphic Design/Social Media Volunteer

The Graphic Design/Social Media Team Volunteer supports our mission by bringing stories to life through compelling visuals and digital media for social media. This role is ideal for someone creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about using design to engage communities. Volunteers will collaborate with staff to design graphics, logos, flyers, social media content, and other digital or print materials that highlight events, clean-up recaps, accomplishments, and educational riparian content.

Responsibilities:

Create eye-catching graphics for social media, newsletters, and promotional campaigns

Design flyers, posters, and other event materials

Assist with photo and video editing for media projects

Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and messaging

Contribute creative ideas to strengthen community engagement through media

Qualifications:

Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)

Strong eye for detail, layout, and visual storytelling

Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team

Interest in community, environment, and storytelling through design

Commitment:
Flexible hours, estimated at 3–5 hours per week.
This is a virtual opportunity, and participants must have access to a laptop or tablet and a reliable internet connection.
