Marketing and Social Media Chair, SCORE Utah
Do you love telling a good story and watching it reach the right people? SCORE Utah is looking for a Marketing and Social Media Chair to help small business owners across the state discover free mentoring and affordable workshops.
As part of our chapter leadership team, you will shape how SCORE Utah shows up online and in the community. You will work with fellow volunteers who bring decades of business experience and a real passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed.
What you will do:
- Plan and post content on our social media channels, including workshop promotions, mentor spotlights and client success stories
- Coordinate email announcements and event promotion with the Workshop/Education Chair
- Keep our messaging consistent with SCORE brand standards
- Track simple results (followers, clicks, registrations) and share them at monthly leadership meetings
- Recruit and guide a small team of marketing volunteers as the role grows
What you bring:
- Experience with social media platforms, content scheduling tools or small business marketing
- Clear, friendly writing and an eye for design (Canva skills are a plus)
- Reliability and comfort working with a remote, volunteer team
Time commitment: About 6 to 10 hours per month, mostly flexible and remote, plus a monthly leadership meeting.
