About Miss Refugee Utah
 Miss Refugee Utah is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting and empowering refugee women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. We believe in celebrating the resilience, beauty, and strength of refugees and creating pathways for them to thrive in Utah.

Board Member Responsibilities
 As a Board Member for Miss Refugee Utah, you will:
 ✔ Shape the Future – Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to ensure the organization’s mission and goals are met.
 ✔ Fundraising & Partnerships – Use your network and skills to secure financial resources and build meaningful partnerships to sustain and expand our programs.
 ✔ Community Engagement – Represent Miss Refugee Utah in the community, creating awareness and advocating for the needs of refugee women and girls.
 ✔ Support Program Growth – Assist in overseeing and expanding our programs, events, and initiatives to impact as many individuals as possible.
 ✔ Provide Financial Oversight – Ensure responsible budgeting, financial planning, and accountability for all organizational funds.

Who We’re Looking For
 ✅ A passionate advocate for refugees and social justice with a strong desire to make a difference in your community.
 ✅ Individuals with experience or interest in nonprofit management, fundraising, community outreach, event planning, marketing or financial oversight.
 ✅ Collaborative and committed leaders who bring new ideas and a team-oriented mindset.
 ✅ Those with a strong desire to support and amplify the voices of refugee women and girls.
