Volunteer Coach, Mentor, Workshop Facilitator
People Helping People is looking for volunteer business professionals to coach and mentor clients 1-1 virtually. Volunteers help clients learn successful workplace behaviors, develop critical employment tools, and explore the job search process. Working with business professionals also provides an opportunity for clients to meet a variety of people representing a wide range of job types and industries.
Volunteers Criteria includes: 5+ years of consistent work history (retired is ok!), lives in one of the counties we serve, HR, management, or recruiting experience a plus, willing to provide references and/or background check, proficient in virtual platforms like Zoom, Google Meet/Drive, available Tues/Thurs evenings.
Volunteers must attend a new volunteer program overview and fill out an application to be considered. Thorough onboarding and ongoing training is provided.

Organization Mission : People Helping People, Inc (PHP) is a Salt Lake City based 501c3 non-profit Employment Program dedicated to reducing the number of children living in poverty by helping low-income women, primarily single moms, reach an adequate income through successful employment. PHP helps families break the cycle of poverty by teaching low-income women how to reach their full potential in the workplace.
