Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to manage the accurate and timely payment of invoices across multiple entities.

The role involves handling purchase orders, processing bills, and managing payments, ensuring all financial activities are conducted efficiently and accurately.

What you'll do:

  • Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
  • Prepare, code, and enter invoices by property into QuickBooks Online.
  • Process and reconcile approximately eight Director credit card accounts.
  • Ensure timely payments to avoid penalties and take advantage of discounts.
  • Reconcile monthly statements and maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and contact information.
  • Communicate with Department Directors and vendors to resolve invoice and account issues promptly.

What we're looking for:

  • Associate’s degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strongly proficient in QuickBooks with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Office Suite.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make decisions under pressure.
