Administrative Assistant
Job Summary: Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, energetic team player for an Administrative Assistant position with Adopt-A-Native-Elder. If you are a person who is excited to learn, has passion and integrity, we look forward to considering you as a candidate.
WHAT WE DO:
Many traditional Navajo Elders live without plumbing. Many have no electricity, haul water from miles away and use wood for heat and to cook. Many Elders do not speak English and did not have the opportunity of a formal education. Adopt-A-Native-Elder (A.N.E.) provides Elders living on the Navajo reservation with basic food, firewood, traditional clothing, yarn for weaving and simple medical supplies. We strive to fill significant gaps in reservation Elder care.

Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include assisting in daily office needs and managing our organization's general administrative activities, answering the phone, filling orders, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Word, Excel, data entry and office equipment.
