Advancement Associate

Are you excited to help develop and implement an external marketing/communications strategy?
As the Advancement Associate, you will support PC Tots mission of providing high quality, accessible early education by working with the Director of Development and Communications on PC Tots fundraising, development, and external communication activities. This role will first and foremost write grant applications. This role will also assist with solicitations of current and prospective donors, and with organizing PC Tots annual fundraising event. The Advancement Associate will help with development and execution of all external communications to create a strong organizational image and communicate the impact of our mission among our stakeholders and the community. We require some prior experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing. Strong communications and interpersonal skills are non-negotiables in this role.
The key areas in which you will provide support to the organization:
-Assist in implementing annual fundraising plan.
-Research and apply for new and existing grants.
-Assist with stewardship of individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
-Work closely with the Director of Development and Communications on fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals.
-Assist with marketing and communications in support of PC Tots’ mission.
-Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Experience in grant writing, fundraising, donor relations, and/or nonprofit communications.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-Basic graphic design skills
-Familiarity with CRMs
-Experience with email marketing
