Afterschool Youth Leader

We are a licensed and NAEYC-accredited organization providing high-quality afterschool programs for children ages 5-12. As an Afterschool Youth Leader, you will lead engaging enrichment activities, supervise children, and provide safe transportation to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan & implement enrichment activities that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe and engaged.
  • Supervise and interact with children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and community service projects.
  • Encourage teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence through structured group activities.
  • Lead and participate in community service projects to teach responsibility and civic engagement.
  • Provide outdoor recreational opportunities that promote physical activity, teamwork, and exploration.
  • Ensure safety and proper group management using positive behavior techniques.
  • Transport children safely using a 15-passenger van to and from school.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and youth participants.




What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High-energy, responsible, and passionate about working with children.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Utah Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for transportation duties).
  • Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish bilingual preferred).
  • Must demonstrate at least three strong leadership qualities.


Schedule & Pay:

  • Part-time positions available: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM (after school hours).
  • Full-time positions available now with a split shift schedule.
  • Full-time opportunities available during the summer months.
  • Competitive Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, DOE.
