Bilingual Case Manager- P/T

Admin/Operations Program/Project Management

We are seeking to hire a bilingual, energetic, self-starter to become part of our dynamic team. The position is hybrid, part-time and with variable work hours; some evenings required. On average, the Case Manager will work approximately 15-20 hours each week.  https://mountainmediationcenter.org/

   

Duties

  • Manage case intake and management processes, including:

    • Respond to phone and website inquiries about services 

    • Conduct intake interviews with potential clients

    • Screen cases to ensure suitability for consultation or mediation

    • Screen cases to determine eligibility for state homeless prevention program

    • Add clients to state database, when appropriate

    • Determine fees, if any, for each party, based on MM fee policy 

    • Assign mediators to cases

    • Schedule mediations

    • Reserve mediation room- in person or Zoom, as applicable

    • Reserve interpreter, if necessary

    • Send required documents to mediation participants

    • Maintain case management database

    • Send closing letters

    • Track programming data and run reports

    • Perform other tasks as assigned

  • Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with MMC staff members
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed

  • Qualifications
    • Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner in both English and Spanish (required)

    • Ability and willingness to complete training required to obtain access to state database

    • Ability to work independently and within MMC policies, including maintaining confidentiality
