Bilingual Children's Advocate
Job Summary:
The Bilingual Children’s Advocate is a critical part of the support services offered to families engaging in Children’s Services at Peace House. This position works directly with children of all ages, and their parents, to address the immediate needs of families impacted by interpersonal violence. In addition, this role supports families to the future and connects them with additional tools and resources to promote ongoing stability, growth, and success. Alongside 1:1 work with children and parents; this position will arrange and oversee a schedule of engaging children’s activities and organize a cohort of volunteers to provide support with these activities. The Bilingual Children’s Advocate will also establish community partnerships to connect children with other local enrichment programs. The Child Advocate will administer safety planning for all children engaged in any services at Peace House.
