Billing and Office Manager

Summary
The Children’s Center Utah is seeking a Billing and Office Manager to oversee clerical support staff and functions, manage medical billing, support credentialing and paneling for clinicians, and all required administrative tasks to run a mental health office. This position is for our new Lehi office location which will be opening in July. Training will start at our West Valley City location in advance of the Lehi office opening.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Supervise office staff and organize clerical staff activities to meet the Center’s needs
  • Ensure proper medical coding for billing purposes. Help identify ways to maximize medical billing and payments
  • Manage accounts receivables including daily entry of client charges and payments, and adjustments 
  • Support credentialing and paneling of clinicians
  • Maintain patient insurance and other pertinent financial information. Prepare insurance billings and patient statements
  • Monitor patient registration, meet with parents to set fees and make payment arrangements
  • Perform regular follow-up and collection procedures on patient accounts
  • Oversee general maintenance of building and equipment
  • Monitor and order office supplies and materials
 
Requirements
  • College level courses in business, accounting or finance required, or commensurate business, accounting or finance experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 year of administrative office work
  • Experience managing staff required
  • Medical billing experience required
  • Provider credentialing and paneling experience preferred
  • Finance or accounting experience preferred

Compensation
$55,000 - $60,000 salary DOE
