WasteLess Solutions is a local non-profit organization who aims to reduce food waste in Utah through education, prevention, and diversion. As part of our mission, we have two main programs.  The first is our food rescue program, we utilize a smartphone app and our large contingency of volunteers who rescue edible surplus food from food producers, caterers, cafeterias, restaurants, farmers, and farmers markets and transport it to receiving agencies such as shelters, children’s programs, other non-profits, and community centers, to feed those who are food insecure. Our second program is education. Education is the core of our mission as our goal is to reduce food waste.  We educate via social media, tabling, speaking engagements and other channels.

We have been in existence for seven years and are experiencing a great amount of growth.  We are a small team doing big things so we are looking for someone who is passionate about food, the environment, food waste, and food insecurity.  Additionally the ideal candidate should be a go-getter, driven, a creative thinker, a strong leader, and is someone who can implement their creative ideas to help us continue to grow.  This position is full-time and the pay is salaried.  The ideal candidate should reside in Salt Lake County.
