Clinical Administrative Assistant

Summary
The Children’s Center Utah, a nonprofit provider of mental health services for young children and their families, is seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant to help support a variety of administrative tasks for the clinical team, such as intakes, scheduling, and case management. This position will also provide coverage for the front desk. This position will start with training in our West Valley location, but will be located at our new Lehi location, scheduled to open in July.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Perform client intakes
  • Support scheduling of Mental Health Assessments and completion of needed intake paperwork
  • Support scheduling for psychological testing and family therapy appointments
  • Support therapists in managing their caseloads
  • Perform case management tasks to help clients access services effectively
  • Cover the front desk at the Lehi office, answering calls, greeting clients, checking in clients, scheduling appointments, etc.
  • Coordinate services with outside resources
  • Support the clinical team as needed and effectively communicate family needs and concerns through writing to the Clinical team
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field strongly preferred
  • SSW or SSW eligible strongly preferred
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Experience with young children preferred
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Strong computer skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities for assignments, meet deadlines, and enthusiastically participate as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player
  • Bilingual preferred

Compensation
$19-22/hour
