Clinical Mental Health Therapist Bilingual/English Spanish
Root for Kids mission is to nurture strong beginnings in all children, We are seeking Bilingual Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to provide therapy to very young children, ages birth to three and their families in our community. This is a Part Time position with somewhat flexible hours. Benefits include telehealth, workers comp. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that offers mental health, financial and legal counseling. This individual will manage referrals and determine eligibility of children through standardized assessments and observations. Will develop treatment plans as indicated by assessments. Therapy will be provided in both a home visit and center-based model. Will document all services provided in a data base. Will provide training and consultation to staff who have these children on their caseload. Will assist with the development of policies and procedures to address mental health concerns for children agency wide.
Requires at a minimum a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent for the state of Utah and experience providing therapy to young children. Must have good communication skills, Bilingual Spanish/English needed. Must have good record keeping ability and good computer skills including data entry and reports. Requires a person with full mobility, the ability to see, hear and speak, and lift up to 20 lbs. Accommodations can be made as necessary. Applicants will be required to pass a background check and e-verification. Requires a current driver license and reliable transportation to conduct home visits--- with employer paid mileage.
