Community Engagement Coordinator
Peace House is seeking a relationship-oriented, highly organized, and collaborative Community Engagement Coordinator to cultivate meaningful relationships with community supporters. This position is responsible for coordinating community service projects, in-kind donation activities, and community events, both onsite and offsite. The role also serves as the initial point of contact for new donor inquiries and indirect service volunteer opportunities, ensuring timely, professional, and thoughtful communication.
As part of the Resource Development Team, the Community Engagement Coordinator will help grow the annual operating fund that sustains Peace House's vital mission. Through donor stewardship, volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and event support, this position plays a key role in building awareness, strengthening relationships, and generating community support for survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault.
The Community Engagement Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for donors, community supporters, and indirect service volunteers. This role coordinates volunteer recruitment and engagement, supports fundraising and community events, and helps create meaningful opportunities for community members to connect with and invest in the mission of Peace House.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional relationship builder with strong communication, organizational, and event coordination skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about engaging the community in support of Peace House's mission.
