Position Summary

The Development Coordinator is a key member of WoW’s leadership team, responsible for driving and advancing the organization’s fundraising efforts. This role combines donor engagement, grants support, events coordination, and development operations. The successful candidate will bring 3–5 years of nonprofit development experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level donors through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Coordinate annual fundraising campaigns, donor appeals, and sponsorships.

Oversee donor acknowledgement systems and ensure timely, personalized communication with supporters.

Track donor interactions and provide reports on fundraising progress.

Grants & Institutional Giving

Partner with WoW’s grant writer to research funding opportunities, support proposal development, and assist with reporting.

Maintain grants calendar and ensure timely submission of proposals and reports.

Events & Community Engagement

Lead planning and execution of the fundraising during WoW’s annual Fashion Show & Cultural Gala, cultivation events, and donor gatherings.

Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and committees to ensure seamless event operations.

Assist with event sponsorship outreach and stewardship.

Development Operations & Data Management

Maintain WoW’s CRM database (Salesforce) to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Generate regular development reports and fundraising analytics.

Manage fundraising systems and processes for efficiency and growth.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional nonprofit development/fundraising experience (required).

Demonstrated success cultivating and stewarding donor relationships.

Strong knowledge of fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and event coordination.

Experience working with CRM/donor databases (Salesforce preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
