Position description:     Development & Marketing Coordinator

Reports to:                    Development & Communications Director

Term:                           40 hours a week

Compensation:             $22-26/hour DOE

Benefits:                      Health, Vision, Dental, Discount Child-Care, Lunch provided daily

Overview: The Development & Marketing Coordinator supports day-to-day development, marketing, and corporate engagement activities at Neighborhood House. This role focuses on executing assigned tasks, maintaining systems, and coordinating communications to support fundraising, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and organizational visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in concert with the Development & Communications Director to support and execute marketing and development campaigns as assigned, including email, social media, print, and web updates.
  • Support corporate social responsibility activities, including workplace giving, sponsorship coordination, stewardship activities and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with corporate and donor communications, acknowledgments, and recognition tracking.
  • Maintain accurate donor and corporate records in the database (CRM).
  • Support event logistics related to fundraising, marketing and corporate engagement (materials, registrations, coordination).
  • Coordinate with vendors for printing, digital materials, and promotional items as needed.
  • Assist with website updates, email distribution, and social media posting following established guidelines.
  • Track basic engagement metrics and provide routine reports.
  • Collaborate with development, communications, and program staff to complete assigned tasks on schedule.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Spanish-speaking proficiency (written and verbal) preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, communications, development support, or administrative coordination preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic database use.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and website content management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff across departments.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
