Director of Clinical & Older Adult Services
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Clinical and Older Adult Services provides strategic, clinical, administrative, and programmatic leadership for JFS’s Clinical and Older Adult Services. The Director ensures high-quality, accessible, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed services while working as a member of the senior leadership to strengthen programs, develop partnerships, respond to community needs, and expand sustainable revenue.
The Director provides clinical leadership for Mental Health and programmatic leadership for Older Adult Services, ensuring quality, compliance, effective operations, and appropriate client access while supporting program development and growth. The Director also builds strategic community partnerships, strengthens referral networks, and promotes awareness and utilization of JFS services.
The ideal candidate combines strong clinical leadership, program development, sound operational judgment, and an entrepreneurial approach to advancing quality, growth, and sustainability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field with current unrestricted Utah clinical license as an LCSW, CMHC, LMFT, or equivalent qualifying license
- Meets requirements per the State of Utah to serve as a Clinical Supervisor including having unrestricted license for a minimum of two years and successful completion of required Clinical Supervision Training Course
- Significant experience providing mental health services, clinical leadership, and supervision to licensed or pre-licensed mental health professionals.
- Experience working with older adults and/or caregivers, with a strong understanding of behavioral health and aging services systems and the ability to build effective relationships across systems.
- Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, professional ethics, confidentiality, risk management, applicable behavioral health regulations, and Medicaid and Medicare rules, regulations, and reimbursement considerations.
