Neighborhood House is a cornerstone of the westside community of Salt Lake City, providing essential services to over 350 clients daily within our 57,000-square-foot facility on 5.5 acres of land. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for our clients and staff.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations and Technology Director to join our Executive Leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management and optimization of our facility’s operations and technology. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations, implementing effective systems and policies, and driving organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, grounds, van fleet and kitchen - ensuring efficiency and productivity across all departments.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to facility improvements, technology upgrades, and system implementations.
  • Systems and Policies: Develop and maintain systems and policies to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support teams to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
  • Community Engagement: Work closely with programs, departments, and community stakeholders to align operations with Neighborhood House’s mission and goals.

  • Analytical and Organized: Strong skills in analyzing systems and processes, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Technology Expertise: Extensive knowledge of technology and systems implementation.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, make high-level operational decisions, and drive organizational success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, clients, and community partners.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to execute initiatives that promote scalable growth and achieve organizational excellence.
