Company Description

Established in 1928, Community Nursing Services (CNS) is a nonprofit home care agency providing home health care, hospice, palliative care, infusion pharmacy services, immunizations, and respiratory services. CNS is committed to providing care without regard to ability to pay and accepts all Medicaid patients. With 9 branches across Utah, CNS delivers high-quality, compassionate care to over 9,000 home care visits and administers over 80,000 immunizations annually.


Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Director of Philanthropy located in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The Director of Philanthropy will be responsible for overseeing planned giving, annual giving, fundraising events, prospect research, and stewardship efforts to support the organization's mission and fundraising goals.


Schedule

Hybrid schedule during normal business hours.


Qualifications

  • Philanthropy skills
  • Experience in Annual Giving and Stewardship
  • Proficiency in Raiser's Edge preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities
  • Experience with donor relations and fundraising campaigns
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or nonprofit sector is preferred
