Driver
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow strict pick up/drop off schedules and communicate with the management team regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation.
- Provide safe and sensitive handling of older clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner.
- Assist the management team with changes and pertinent information about clients. Develop and maintain communication with managers, staff and client family members/caregivers.
- Ensure that vehicle mileage and maintenance logs are current.
- Each driver is responsible for keeping the vans filled with gas and reporting any operating problems to the Director of Adult Day Services or the Director of Operations.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff members.
- Attending all-staff monthly meeting and other staff activities is required.
- Complete all reports required by Adult Day Services.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old with a valid Utah Drivers’ License
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and help support up to 185 pounds.
- Be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Current COVID Vaccination
- Fluent in English, Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Work Hours
The Driver position is split shift with hours from 7:30 - 10:00 AM and 2:30 - 5:00 PM as the organizational core operating hours are 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
