Early Childhood Educator
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team, with a focus on promoting social-emotional development in early childhood. As part of a collaborative group of educators, you will plan, implement, and evaluate curriculum aligned with early childhood standards, focusing on social-emotional learning, positive behavior supports, and conflict resolution. You will lead the development of individualized learning plans for children, using data from assessments such as ASQ-SE, ASQ-3, ECERS and the Pyramid Model to track progress. You will ensure that program goals and mission are met, making recommendations for improvement based on research and best practices. This role requires strong collaboration with school administrators and participation in team meetings to address individual children's needs. You will also help create a nurturing, trauma-responsive classroom culture that promotes inclusivity and emotional resilience.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with at least three years of experience in early childhood education focusing on social-emotional learning. Experience with social-emotional curricula (e.g., Second Step, Conscious Discipline, Pyramid Model) and working with diverse populations is also preferred, although training will be provided in all these areas.
Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with 15 to 20 hours per week. Join a dedicated team of professionals committed to making a positive impact in children's lives and fostering continuous growth.
