Early Education Assistant Manager

Do you enjoy creating an environment where children can learn, grow and play? As an Early Education Assistant Manager, you will work alongside your peers to support, encourage, and develop teachers within your specific pod as they provide the daily enrichment in our toddler and preschool classrooms. You’ll work to ensure compliance with all licensing rules and regulations and that our teachers receive the support, guidance and training needed.


 Primary Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for scheduling and time off requests for your classroom pods
  • Ensure classrooms within your pod are always within ratio; develop plans for ratios and communicate those plans to the Early Education Manager.
  • Work with Lead Teachers to remain in compliance with all licensing regulations.
  • Conduct monthly classroom observations; report observations to Early Education Manager and provide coaching to teachers based on those observations.
  • Maintain and develop a schedule for teaching strategies for all teachers, including new hires.
  • Train and orientate all new hires, in conjunction with the Mentor Teachers and Early Education Manager.
  • Work in the classrooms in a teacher role for set number of hours each week.
  • Work with Early Education Manager to execute any disciplinary action.
  • Follow all licensing rules and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • CDA Certification or Bachelor’s in Early Education
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in early education
  • First-Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid Utah Driver’s License
  • Obtain a Food Handler’s Permit
  • Maintain Confidentiality
  • Pass Child Care Licensing Background Check
  • Pass a drug test
  • COVID Vaccinated
  • Must speak, read and write English Fluently. Bilingual in Spanish a plus
