Executive Director
Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with Family Promise Affiliates across the western United States.
- Develop and carry out a successful grants program working with government, foundation, and corporate granting entities
- Develop goals and strategies for fundraising campaigns, build a strong base of supporters (individuals, corporations, and foundations) increase external support for Family Promise's goals and mission.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization
- Lead and manage employees, providing guidance and support
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, donors, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Monitor financial performance and develop budgets
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement effective programs and initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Foster a positive organizational culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets as an exceptional fundraiser and relationship builder
- Experience in grant writing and reporting
- Experience with budget management and budget development
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Demonstrated experience in operations management and project management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for process improvement
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build consensus among stakeholders
