Education/Training

Hours: Part Time approx. 25-30 hours/week

Job Summary: Ensure the buildings and grounds are maintained by staff or vendors.

Salary: $45,000-$55,000 annually

Responsibilities/Duties include:

• Assist in repairs, stocking of janitorial supplies, and other cleaning around the building

• Assist in the coordinating with vendors for maintenance of the building and grounds, as well as equipment.

• Coordinate snow removal on sidewalk areas during winter storms.

• Assist in creating and coordinating RFPs for contracts with maintenance vendors

• Assist with security system, including keys and access cards

• Maintains and updates a variety of files, records and reports

• Meets regularly with supervisor to determine projects and needed maintenance for the facility

• Assists with Emergency Drill schedule for organization.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school and experience in building repairs/maintenance.

• Communication: Facilities support members talk to staff and vendors, and work with management to make sure the job gets done. Being able to clearly explain what needs to be done will be necessary.

• Knowledge of purchasing, supplies, grounds keeping, and equipment repair is helpful.

• Computer skills in building systems is helpful.

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Be well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage many tasks simultaneously
