Medical Provider Liaison

Admin/Operations

Title: Provider Liaison (Part-time 15-20 hours per week)

 Overall Responsibility: Responsible for staff and volunteer provider credentialing and scheduling

Accountability: Accountable to Medical Director

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00/hour

Responsibilities: 

  1. The main contact for current and perspective volunteer providers
  2. Answers questions and provides information to perspective volunteer providers
  3. Gives tours to perspective volunteer providers as requested
  4. Collects and submits volunteer provider credentialing paperwork and maintains volunteer provider files
  5. On boards volunteer providers including adding to Athena and orienting them to the clinic
  6. Maintains volunteer provider clinic schedules including PA Clinics
  7. Liaison for the Physician Assistant clinics and Moran Eye Center
  8. Maintains FTCA account including submitting the annual renewal paperwork
  9. Prepares information for and attends the Medical Advisory Board meetings
  10. Participates in staff and department meetings, as requested by the Executive Director
  11. Other duties as necessary to assure that the clinic is operating in an efficient manner

Skills and Knowledge Required
Ability to exercise sound leadership and judgment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and to prioritize tasks

Education and experience:   

High school diploma required

Associates degree or some college preferred

1-2 years experience in a medical office preferred

Pay Range : $18-$20 hour
