Membership Engagement Coordinator
The Membership Engagement Coordinator cultivates relationships with UACPA members and non-members. This person provides a high level of service to current members and assists with all member engagement functions. Helps in maintaining membership records and ensures accuracy of member data.
Initiatives include supporting membership initiatives, coordinating events that support relationships with members, firm admins and outreach to potential members. This person will develop and implement events to engage members.
The Membership Engagement Coordinator reports to the Marketing and Communications Director and works closely with the other staff members. The ability to work collaboratively and creatively is vital to this position.
Responsibilities:
• Supports day-to-day activities of the membership team to communicate with, retain and grow the association’s membership.
• Serves as a member of the customer service team, providing phone and chat assistance.
• Provides appropriate guidance and solutions to members
• Develops goals and action plans with Marketing and Communications Manager for membership recruitment, retention, and engagement
• Strengthens relationships with current and prospective members and their employers
• Helps plan and execute member events, chapter meetings, and networking events
• Serves as a liaison for the UACPA’s various committees and task forces, overseeing year-round recruitment appointments and recognition to strengthen member involvement
• Solicits UACPA sponsorships, advertisement opportunities, and professional development event registrations
• Provides administrative support related to execution of membership meetings and/or special events
• Runs errands for the organization as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years in a professional environment, with a preference for experience in an association or non-profit.
• Customer service experience required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and organize events.
• Self-motivated and able to meet job expectations without oversight.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team; proactively collaborating with staff members and other stakeholders on relevant projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to handle inquiries, communicate event details clearly, and collaborate effectively with teams.
• High level of organizational and time management skills, attention to details, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to learn database functionality and create reports.
About the job:
• Work model: onsite when not traveling
• Job location: Downtown Salt Lake City
• 25 – 30 hours per week
• $22 - $24/hour
