Arts and Culture Event Planning and Management

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our event staff team. As an event staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events, providing essential support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We welcome applicants with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

This job is on-call, as needed with mornings, nights, and weekends available. Cannot guarantee a set number of hours per week.

Responsibilities:

1. Event Setup and Breakdown:

Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment.

Position requires manual labor and some moderate to heavy lifting (usually between 25 – 40 pounds).

2. Client Coordination:

Act as point of contact for clients during events.

Address client inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and ensure their satisfaction.

3. Venue Maintenance:

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the event venue.

Assist with cleanup of event spaces after the event concludes.

4. Collaboration with Team:

Work collaboratively with other event staff members to ensure smooth operations.

5. Problem Resolution:

Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during events.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in event support or a related field is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Physical ability to lift and move event equipment.
