Scheduling:

  • Full-time Mon-Fri shifts 5:45 am - 2 pm (some flexibility for Social Work and Nursing students)
  • Opportunity for a flexible schedule depending on caseload and productivity
  • A weekend/holiday rotation once or twice per month for three hours

Position Responsibilities: Our Mental Health Therapists/Counselors have scope to practice the evidence-based treatments they believe best for each patient! The position involves a wide spectrum of services/responsibilities including:

  • Excellent Attendance is a MUST
  • Intake assessments
  • Diagnosis and ongoing treatment planning
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Treatment, goal and discharge planning
  • Coordinating with partnered agencies to assist patients in continued care
  • Attending staff meetings and individual/group supervision
  • Abiding by all HIPAA laws
  • Other duties as assigned by program supervisors

Qualifications

  • Master's (Required)
  • Active UT Therapist License (L/CSW, A/CMHC, L/MFT) (Required)
  • Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (provided)
  • High level of professionalism and collaboration
  • Willingness to learn best practices of care
  • Interest in working with vulnerable populations
  • Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills required. G-Suite a plus
  • Project Reality is a Drug Free Workplace
  • Must pass a drug screening test
  • If in recovery, must have at least 2+ years of continuous sobriety
  • Ability to pass/maintain a BCI Clearance Check
  • Vaccination with allowable accommodations as needed
  • Employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster) and flu annually

Applicants must have one of the following active Utah licenses in order to be considered for this position: LCSW, CSW, CSWi, CMCH, ACMHC, LMFT, MFT, SUDC, or ASUDC.

Students in the following programs are highly encouraged to apply:

  • Master's of Social Work
  • Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  • Substance Use Disorder Treatment Training Program

Salary dependent on licensure and experience
