About the Utah Olympic Park 

Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility with Nordic ski jumps, sliding tracks, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities.  As a part of the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, our mission is to cultivate champions in sport and in life, deliver experiences that inspire communities, and celebrate our Olympic legacy for generations to come.  

 

About the role 

The Guest Services Representative is the first point of contact for visitors at the Utah Olympic Park. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.  

 

Major Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive experience. 

  • Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, offering accurate information about services, facilities, and attractions. 

  • Handle ticket sales and reservations, processing cash and electronic transactions accurately and following UOLF policies and procures. 

  • Address guest complaints and feedback promptly, escalating issues to the Lead or Supervisor when necessary. 

  • Provide daily venue tours. 

  • Give rider orientations for summer/winter bobsled rides.    

  • Conduct regular checks of the guest service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization. 

  • Assist in maintaining Gift Shop inventory.  

  • Attend regular team meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and guest feedback. 

  • Complete all required in-house training. 

  • All other job responsibilities as assigned. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Minimum 21 years of age. 

  • Flexible work schedule – must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. 

  • Ability to work outdoors in all temperature/weather extremes. 

  • Ability to get SIPS&TIPS Certification 

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds. 

  • Must be able to stand on feet for extended time. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

  • Hearing – to converse with others in a normal conversation. 

  • Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting.
