Utah Donor Collaborative is hiring a part-time consultant for a time-limited project.
Project Title: Pipeline Assessment
Reports to: Katie Wright, Executive Director
Hours per week: 10-15 hours, contract position December 1-March 15
Location: UDC’s team works remotely. The position requires frequent in-person meetings in the Salt Lake area and occasional in-person meetings statewide
$2,500-$3,000/ month based on experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are assessing the need for a Utah-focused candidate and leadership recruitment and training program, with a focus on creating a more representative state. Your key expected outcomes are:
Landscape Analysis: Complete a landscape analysis which includes (but is not limited to) a survey, one-on-one partner conversations, values analysis and recommendation, data gathering, analysis, and presentation.
Stakeholder Retreat: Host a 1-2 day stakeholder retreat to gather input, chart a plan of action, and build stakeholder engagement from partners and funders.
Strategic Plan: Write a strategic plan with deep stakeholder input that includes (but is not limited to) identification of executive taskforce members, advisory board members, prospective supporters, pilot program design, timeline, and budget.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated commitment to creating balanced political representation in Utah.
Ability to research, analyze, and compile information and data.
Multicycle experience in political campaigns
Experience with leadership training.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and management.
Track record of building trusting, durable relationships with people and organizations of
diverse backgrounds and purposes.
Ability to formulate and manage projects from initiation to completion.
Formal or lived experience applying a racial justice lens to organizational policies, practices, and procedures.
Experience with strategic planning
Demonstrated growth mindset with a commitment to learning and expansion.
Familiar with basic skills of organizing, scheduling, VAN, and G Suite
Experience in recruiting candidates
Experience as a trainer preferred
