Position: Summer Preschool Lunch Specialist

Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7 am-12:30pm (Summer Hours)

Monday –Friday 9:00 am1:00pm (Regular School hours )

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Preschool Lunch Specialist to join our kitchen team. This role is vital in ensuring our students receive nutritious, timely, and safely prepared meals in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and assemble daily breakfast and lunch menus.
  • Packaging: Portions meals into single-serve containers for easy distribution to classrooms.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain daily paperwork for classrooms, including accurate meal counts and serving sizes.
  • Data Entry: Update meal service records on the computer system following each service window.
  • Kitchen Support: Assist with general kitchen duties, cleaning, and organization as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Communication: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Reliability: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail regarding food portions and record-keeping.
  • Teamwork: A positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
