Prevention Coordinator
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with pregnant individuals and families of infants
- Provide education related to infant safety, caregiving, stress management, and early development
- Connect families to community resources and supports
- Promote caregiver strengths, resilience, and early help-seeking
- Document services and collaborate with team members and community partners
- Engage meaningfully in reflective supervision
- You are a professional. You have experience and/or education in substance use disorder treatment and pathology, perinatal, newborn, and post-partum developmental and psychological needs.
- You are a skilled communicator. You have a connection to and understanding of the communities served.
- You work well independently. You have excellent time management abilities, can multi-task effectively and manage competing deadlines. You are detail oriented. You think ahead and can anticipate needs.
- High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or public health preferred
- Experience working with families or communities in a supportive or outreach role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Must have reliable personal vehicle for local travel throughout Salt Lake County
- Bilingual or multilingual skills helpful
