Reports to: Programs, Administration & Operations Coordinator
Position Overview:
Craft Lake City is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Associate to support the planning, execution, and success of Craft Lake City’s programs and events. The Program Associate will be a key liaison for volunteers, youth program participants, and event attendees, playing a vital role in ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, is passionate about local arts, and enjoys working with diverse groups of people while making an impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Youth Entrepreneur Program (YEP)
Serve as the primary contact for schools, community partners, and youth participants.
Work with the Programs Department to plan, coordinate and host youth entrepreneurship-based workshops; provide classroom support as needed.
Recruit Kid Row participants and guide them through event preparation
Source materials, snacks, mentorship opportunities, and resources for youth artisans.
Coordinate event-day logistics, including load-in/out and on-site support for Kid Row.
Document workshops, collect feedback, and create reports and recaps for partners.
Coordinate and provide on-site support for the Youth Entrepreneur mock market and Kid Row pop up at the Annual DIY Fest.
Volunteer Coordination
Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for major Craft Lake City events, including the Annual DIY Festival, Annual Holiday Market and Annual LetterWest.
Provide on-site support and guidance for volunteers during events.
Manage volunteer benefits, recognition initiatives, and appreciation events.
Develop and distribute volunteer communications and satisfaction surveys.
Ticketing & Event Operations
Coordinate ticketing systems, event setup, reporting, and reconciliation.
Oversee on-site ticketing operations, including staff training and customer support.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth ticketing logistics.
Track inventory, manage invoices, and monitor equipment needs.
General Programs Support
Assist with event planning, logistics, and implementation of Craft Lake City programs.
Provide administrative support for multiple programs and initiatives.
Contribute to Craft Lake City’s mission by fostering strong community engagement.

Organization & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple programs and meet deadlines.
Event Coordination: Experience with event logistics, setup, and on-site operations.
Volunteer Management: Skilled at recruiting, scheduling, and engaging volunteers.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience with ticketing/CRM systems (24tix, TicketTailor, or similar).
Familiarity with survey and feedback tools (Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, etc.).
Basic knowledge of social media and marketing support (posting, drafting announcements).
Data entry and reporting skills (tracking attendance, feedback, and budgets).
Soft Skills
Problem-Solving: Calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented in event settings.
Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with staff, partners, and volunteers.

Requirements:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in office
- This is a full time, contract position
- Ability to commit to extended hours at Annual Events like LetterWest, the DIY Festival and Holiday Market.
- Must have your own laptop and cell phone, with willingness to use for Craft Lake City tasks
- Must have reliable transportation, with willingness to use for Craft Lake City tasks
