Job Summary

The Residential Support Advocate provides direct support, safety, and advocacy to survivors of interpersonal violence and their children in a communal living environment. This role includes facilitating crisis intervention, safety planning, and conflict resolution, while maintaining a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space. Advocates assist residents with daily needs, connect them with community resources, uphold shelter policies, and contribute to a respectful and empowering atmosphere that supports healing and independence. This position requires compassion, discretion, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond calmly in crisis situations.
