Guest Services Supervisor (Part-Time)
Soldier Hollow Nordic Center (Sports Discovery Center) | Midway, UT
If you like working with the public and being the go-to person when things get busy, this role is for you. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role with variety throughout the year. Working at a winter sport venue focusing on Nordic ski disciplines, biathlon, and the longest winter tubing lanes in Utah means the winter season can get busy. Schedule, Pay & Benefits
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Typical winter schedule: Thursday–Monday
- Typical summer schedule: Friday-Sunday supporting events of all types, with smaller on-call staff

Job Requirements
Must-haves
- 21+ years old (required to serve beer)
- Prior guest facing customer service experience
- Food & beverage experience
- Comfortable learning POS/reservation systems
- Comfortable with handling guest concerns in a calm, professional manner
Nice-to-haves
- Barista training/experience; Tips & Sips certification (preferred)
- Experience training/coaching seasonal staff or coordinating daily desk operations
- Inventory/ordering experience (retail, concessions, or food & beverage)
Day in the Life
Most shifts are spent at the Sports Discovery Center welcoming guests, answering questions, and keeping check-ins moving smoothly. As the on-shift supervisor supporting a seasonal team, you’ll stay hands-on with the point of sale (tickets, retail, concessions/coffee), step in to resolve guest issues with a calm, solution-focused approach, and coordinate quick updates with other teams when plans change. You’ll also help keep the desk organized and close out the day accurately, so everything is set up for the next shift.
