Substitute Preschool Shuttle Bus Driver

Summary
The Children’s Center Utah is seeking a friendly, responsible Substitute Shuttle Bus Driver for our Therapeutic Preschool Program.  This position will fill in for other drivers when they are out, driving preschool-aged children with emotional and behavioral challenges to and from our center. NO CDL REQUIRED.
 
Responsibilities
  • Safely transport preschool children to and from The Children’s Center Utah
  • Assist the Transportation Supervisor with other tasks as assigned
  • Work cooperatively with extremely talented and dedicated staff 
Requirements
  • Similar driving experience preferred, NO CDL Required
  • 21 years or older
  • Clean driving record with no DUIs (Motor Vehicle Records will be checked.)
  • Ability to pass a background screening
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs and look under bus seats
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Must be a dependable, patient individual who enjoys working with children and their families
  • Team and service focus paramount
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills helpful

Schedule
Part-time, as needed.
Schedule is between the hours of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, (Split Shift) Monday – Friday
 
Compensation
$18/hr
