Weatherization Installation Crew Person

Utah Community Action of Salt Lake City, UT is seeking to hire a full-time Crew Member to work in our Weatherization Program. This position is responsible for installing energy efficient upgrades on qualified low-income residential structures. Work includes minor residential repairs including installing doors, windows, duct and surface sealants, vapor barrier, insulation, framing, sheet rock, exhaust fans, and other energy saving measures on a variety of single family and manufactured housing structures. Requires regularly engaging with homeowners and demonstrating professionalism. Transportation, tools, and equipment are provided.
This Installation Crew Person earns a competitive wage of $25.79/hour. We also offer generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), a healthcare spending account (HSA) with up to a $2,500 match, a 401k plan with 5% match, short and long-term disability, accident insurance, life insurance, 11 paid holidays, paid time off between Christmas and New Year's, paid time off (PTO) up to 192 hours a year, and an hour of paid time on Fridays for self-care. We have 2 positions available.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREW PERSON
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of residential construction experience (experience can include insulation, framing, remodeling or other related fields).
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test
WORK SCHEDULE
Typical work schedule 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. No weekend or evening hours required. Located in Salt Lake City.
