Invest in Success Southern Utah

Description
Strong leadership is critical for effective social sector organizations. Leadership development not only strengthens new leaders and keeps leaders vigorous for the long haul — it also improves organizational performance and capacity across multiple dimensions.
Designed to educate and empower, Invest in Success was created for nonprofit leaders seeking to build leadership skills and capacity within their organizations. Through this initiative, leaders receive intensive coaching and mentoring in essential nonprofit leadership skills including board management, strategic communication, financial management, adaptive leadership, and more.
This fall, the first Invest in Success - Southern Utah will be hosted in St. George for nonprofit leaders working across Utah's southern counties. Participants will receive a customized experience to aid in their leadership development and growth. Additionally, monetary assistance for travel and accommodation will be provided to eligible participants.
Eligibility:
- Applicant serves in an executive director or CEO role within the organization
- Organization serves in the fields of affordable housing, economic development, community planning and/or development, including Native Americans
- Organization is located within Southern Utah
- Applicant must be able to attend in-person workshops tentatively on September 23-26 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., with travel and accommodation assistance
