Pickled For a Purpose Classic - Pickleball Tournament

Join WasteLess on Saturday, May 2nd for the inaugural Pickled For a Purpose Classic - a community pickleball tournament with all proceeds supporting WasteLess’ mission to reduce food waste and redirect surplus food to neighbors in need.

Proudly sponsored by the Bar X Group (Bar X, Beer Bar, Cotton Bottom, and the Eating Establishment), this event brings together friendly competition, great food, and our incredible community for an evening that’s equal parts fun and meaningful.

All skill levels are welcome to play at the Pickled For a Purpose Classic! The tournament will run in blocks:

• Men’s Doubles
• Women’s Doubles
• Mixed & Recreational

Exact start times and division sizes will be finalized once registration closes, based on total signups.

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Division Winners
• Best Themed Costumes
• Best Food-Themed Team Name (Bring your best puns.)

Come hungry! Full dinner is included with registration. Guests will be able to order from multiple locally-owned food trucks, and WasteLess will feature a curated spread from our Rescue-to-Table Program showcasing delicious food that might otherwise have gone to waste.

Each paid registration also includes two drink tickets, redeemable for beer, wine, specialty cocktails, mocktails, or other non-alcoholic options. A cash bar will be available after drink tickets are used.

Every paid registrant will receive one opportunity drawing ticket, with additional chances available at the event.

You can register as a two-person team, sign up individually and be paired with a partner, or join us as a spectator to enjoy the food, drinks, and festivities. Kids under 12 attend free, just let us know how many will be joining you when you register.
