The Utah Legislation Session will be here before you know it! Join us on January 9 and get the tools you need for your most successful advocacy year yet.

Prepare for the 2025 Legislative Session! Whether you're new to Capitol Hill or a seasoned veteran looking for a refresher, this informative session will provide you with information and resources to effectively communicate with legislators about the issues that matter most to you.

Nonprofit Day on the Hill will now be Nonprofit Days on the Hill.

This year, you will have multiple opportunities to join your peers at the State Capitol and educate lawmakers about your cause and your organization. UNA will still host its annual Nonprofit Day on the Hill, in which nonprofit members will convene and educate lawmakers by tabling in the Rotunda. In addition, we will offer opportunities for your organization to collaborate and build coalitions with others to advance our collective advocacy efforts. 

What You Can Expect in 2025:

• Use the Advocacy and Civic Engagement Slack Channel to inform the nonprofit community of your upcoming legislative action and/or days on the Hill—be sure to include what you hope to accomplish!
• A representative from UNA will be at the Capitol on specific Days on the Hill (shared via Slack) to hand out nonprofit lanyards and ribbons. These will help identify you as a nonprofit stakeholder and/or nonprofit lobbyist, and help you find peers along the way.
• Collaboration, coalition building, and training efforts are taking place BEFORE the February 26, 2025 Nonprofit Day on the Hill. 

Nonprofit Day on the Hill:

• Taking place February 26, 2025 between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Nonprofits will gather at the Capitol to table in the Rotunda during the legislative session. All training will be available on-demand in the Member Info Hub. Register Here to reserve a table!
